Prince Kuhio
An old kamaaina favorite, the Prince Kuhio was originally a hotel that was later converted to a condominium. It is located about 20 yards from the ocean and just a few steps away from Lawai Beach, one of Poipu’s best snorkeling beaches.
The complex overlooks Prince Kuhio Park, the Prince’s birthplace, lava rock walls and fish pond. You’ll have the best seat in the house to observe the annual festivities of Prince Kuhio Day, a state holiday to celebrate the great statesman. https://www.timebulletin.com/prince-kuhio-day-2020-what-is-it-why-is-it-celebrated/. The resort features studio, one and 2-bedroom condos, all with single-level floor plans. Two penthouse units cap the building. Many of the condos have impressive ocean and mountain views, and amenities include a pool, tropical garden, laundry facilities and BBQs.
